Working for You, Working for Our Community
The Arbor Health Foundation is a volunteer-based organization that functions with the sole purpose of supporting Arbor Health-Morton Hospital, Mossyrock Clinic, Morton Clinic and Randle Clinic.

The purpose of the Arbor Health Foundation’s philanthropic and volunteer efforts is:
- Developing, maintaining, expanding and improving the range and quality of the hospital’s medical equipment and services.
- Taking a leadership role in maintaining and improving community connection and confidence in all aspects of the Arbor Health district.
Arbor Health’s goal is “to provide the highest possible quality of care and continually improve our patient, staff, and physician satisfaction. Our mission is to foster trust and nurture a healthy community while providing accessible, quality healthcare.”
Arbor Health is in East Lewis County, a beautiful but highly impoverished area. In Lewis County, 21% of children under 18 live in households with incomes below the federal poverty level. That’s 7% above the state average. Arbor Health serves 10,000 residents in its district.
Some of Our Highlights
Since its inception in 1985, the Foundation has accomplished many invaluable goals in East Lewis County. Some of the notable ones include:
- Opening a giftshop in the hospital to help raise funds, manned completely with volunteer personnel in our community.
- Implementing an EMS snack center for emergency crews coming into the ER.
- Raising $20,000 toward the cost of an ED ultrasound machine.
- Raising $87,000 toward the cost of a 3-dimensional mammography machine
- Helping families learn about local resources through the family circle program.
- Implementing a prescription discharge fund for those without means to fill those prescription.
- Raising funds to purchase two needed EKGs for the Arbor Health clinics.
- In 2022, to date, our scholarship committee voted to support $25,276 in scholarship funds, making for a total of $254,360 in scholarships since 2009!
