Arbor Health awarded Trailblazer Award
Arbor Health—Morton Hospital was recently notified of being selected for the Foundation for Health Care Quality’s first-ever Trailblazer Award. In the notification, the organization stated that Arbor Health is included in the first group to receive the Trailblazer Award “for their exemplary work in adherence to best practices.”
In addition to Arbor Health, other Trailblazer Award recipients included:
- UW Medicine & UW Physicians
- Healthpoint
- Community Health Plan of Washington
- Kaiser Permanente
- Multicare
Arbor Health was selected for small/rural hospital excellence.
The Foundation for Health Care Quality develops collaborative guidelines to help health system stakeholders chart their paths of transformation towards achieving improved quality, reduction in variation in care and health equity.
